📋 About This Mod

Have you ever looked at the boring settlers in your settlements and thought "Dang, Felicia. Could you have a less memorable appearance?" If so then Settlers Enhanced - Commonwealth Cuts is for you!

This mod changes the appearance of nearly all base game settlers and gives most of them hair from Commonwealth Cuts and there is an optional version using assets from LooksMenu Customization Compendium. This also alters the female Abernathy's and Warwick's.

I haven't done extensive testing of this with this and other settler mods but, it is largely not compatible with mods like Beautiful Settlers and Better Settlers. However, I think if you have the version of Better Settlers that adds the 70 more settlers, the original 25 some settlers will take this mod's changed appearance.

Requirements Main Version Commonwealth Cuts Appealing Moles THBrows Replacer version (Not needed but recommended.) Make sure the KSHairdos.esp is loaded first

LMCC Version Commonwealth Cuts LooksMenu Customization Compendium Appealing Moles (because I probably missed some moles making this version) Make sure the KSHairdos.esp and LOOKSMENU CUSTOMIZATION COMPENDIUM. ESP are loaded first

❂Does work with Better Settlers, although my settlers will be sparsely intermixed ❂Does work with Don't Call Me Settler

Notes ❂Since this mod uses Commonwealth Cuts, a hair mod that doesn't work well with hats, many of your settlers will have on hats with hair clipping through. You'll have to alter them accordingly. ❂ At settlements you may see 2-5 of the same settler, this is just how they're distributed in game. Some will only show up at certain settlements, so feel free to send them around to other places to avoid duplicates together. ❂I won't put this on Bethesda.net because I used face texture mods that do not work for XB1. It'd be too tedious for me to go back through my face saves and take off the assets and redo things to make a new version.

Face texture used in screenshots (Female) Alternate Female Face Texture (Male) Real Male Some save games I used as templates for faces but edited: Kate  Phoenix Black Widow

📊 Pros & Cons

✅ Pros

  • Community favorite with 363 endorsements and over 7,500 downloads.
  • Gives settlers a fresh look without overhauling the whole game.
  • Optional extras let you tailor the look to your taste.

⚠️ Cons

  • Only touches settlers—if you wanted companions or named NPCs changed, this isn't it.
  • Requires Commonwealth Cuts and possibly Looksmenu Customization Compendium for full effect.
  • Last updated in 2016, so it might not play nice with newer mods or game patches.
🎯 Is This For You?
For Fallout 4 players who are tired of seeing the same generic settler faces and want more variety in their settlements. If you're into settlement building and want your people to look more unique, this is a solid pick. Skip if you're looking for gameplay changes—this is purely cosmetic.

  • Use a mod manager like Vortex or Mod Organizer 2 to keep track of load order and avoid conflicts.
  • If you're on PC, consider using Looksmenu to preview the new faces before committing.
