Settlement Guards (both Settlers and Companions) would only guard your settlements during working hours. After working hours, they go to sleep (just like non guard settlers).
About this mod:
It's a very simple mod so there isn't too much to say. Settlement guards have the same dialy schedule as non guard settlers.
Working hours: between 7 a.m. - 6 p.m.
Sleep hours: between 12 a.m. - 6 a.m.
Relaxing: 6 am - 7 am and 6 pm - 12 am. During this time, they usually eat their breakfast or dinner, play on Slot Machines..
