Sensible High Resolution Weapon Textures

The High Resolution Texture Pack is infamous in the community for absolutely obliterating performance, without much gain.  Listed in various guides as actively detrimental to your Fallout 4 install, most haven't even glanced at what is inside.

Among all the redundant, unused or unoptimized textures, lies higher quality versions of the vanilla weapon textures, art style intact.  This is something that's beneficial to pretty much every kitbash in existence and even if you don’t use kitbashes, meshes like the hunting rifle scopes and recon scopes get used all the time. So if you want to preserve the vanilla art style and just want a bit more from it, this is for you.  It makes the Railway rifle’s rust actually look like rust instead of skid marks on the wall, among other improvements.

Miru and I meticulously went over every single weapon texture in the entire game, and picked out what we thought was best to 'upscale'.  Recompressed in a way where you should get a noticeable improvement, but not have overly large textures when necessary.

If you want more out of this pack. We also have a Higher Resolution version in the optional files section that covers more weapons and is a little more loosey goosy with stuff that was upscaled.

The uncompressed textures are included as a separate download if you want them all, or as a modders resource.

A: The vanilla art style is something many want to preserve while also having higher quality textures, without just shoving it through an AI slopscaler.  Think of it like a weapon version of EVAC.
