Santa's Little Helpers - Merry Modding Days 2024

Day 14 of Merry Modding days is Santa's Little Helpers! Happens to be a pair of full auto dual wielding pistols... Some homes are dangerous... Merry Modding Days!

Features some basic weapon modifications and three paint jobs to choose from. The video below demos some options. Since of course not everyone celebrates Christmas, or wants to year round lol, I made two additional skins you can apply to the weapon at a workbench. This can turn Santa's Little Helpers into Select Auto Pistols or Brel Auto Pistols, depending on the skin you want to use. Note that only with the Merry Modding Days skin does the weapon fire Candy Canes. Otherwise it fires metal discs, this would be because of the coin slot like barrel on the weapons.

The Auto Pistols can be found at Listening Post Bravo before loading inside (coc ListeningPostBravoExt), the last photo shows the location. This weapon is fully animated for both 1st person and 3rd person, as well as 1st person and 3rd person Power Armor.

Once obtained for the first time, the weapon can then be crafted at a Chemistry Bench under DUAL PISTOLS. Same with the Ammo. Whether it's the discs or Candy Canes it uses the same ammo.

They can also be legendary, the Dual Auto Pistols were added to the random Legendary roll. Starts showing up at level 17.

For console commands: 'help auto 4 weap' or use XX000F99

Installs like any other mod. No DLC or Mod requirements. Install with NMM/Vortex or enable through the Mods menu in Fallout 4.

What are those cool Holiday themed items and clothing in the video and screenshots?

That would be Elianora's Holiday mod, The Christmas Mod. These items are not included in this mod.

What about the Winter shots in the screenshots and video?

This is the Simple Winter Weather and then the Winter Redone mods.

Collections?

I don't mind this mod being in Collections, but if a problem arises from someone's mod pack relating to this mod... well in short I won't be fixing it. I ain't got time for that! That's the mod pack author's problem lol.
