📋 About This Mod
Why is Sanctuary not inhabited already? It's not hard to find.
Well I attempted to add a little realism to this by cluttering the bridge entrance with more vehicles and foliage so at least the bridge is hidden on approach. At least one vehicle is explodable so good times. I also added a wooden gate for a little more immersion as to why others hadn't crossed and settled.
(I hope to add a lock and side mission to gain access but for now, come on in)
I fixed the Bridge to pre-war condition, fully nav-meshed, and tested with a slew of mods (I am currently running 150+mods). (no double bridge bug)
(WIP...I am attempting to script a carpenter that the general meets at the entrance, the carpenter attempts to over sell his engineering skills by presenting a photo of a guard tower he built (postcard of the Eiffel tower). Not knowing that the Vault dweller had actually taken his pre-war wife to Paris for their honeymoon, he gets called out by the General and agrees to fix the bridge cheap to prove his worth to the community.)
Definitely compatible with Scrap everything, and place everywhere, home-maker etc... That said, I would load it lower in your order than any mod you have that may upgrades sanctuary to prewar etc.
Version 3. 0: Fixes clipping of gate and Vault-Tec van
Version 2. 0: Adds a couple more wrecked vehicles on the road

✨ Key Features
📊 Pros & Cons
✅ Pros
- Community-approved with 326 endorsements and over 5,000 downloads.
- Fixes a specific issue (bridge) that can break NPC pathing.
- Nav-meshing ensures settlers and companions navigate correctly.
⚠️ Cons
- Last updated in 2017, so it may not be compatible with newer mods or game patches.
- Only affects the North Bridge area, so it's a narrow fix.
- Potential conflicts with other mods that alter Sanctuary or its bridge.
For Fallout 4 players who are tired of settlers getting stuck or pathing weirdly around the North Bridge in Sanctuary. If you're a settlement builder who wants a clean, functional bridge approach, this is for you. Skip if you're looking for a broader Sanctuary overhaul or visual changes.
💡 Beginner Tips
- Since it's a simple mod, you can install it manually by dropping the files into your Data folder, but using a mod manager like Vortex or Mod Organizer 2 is still recommended for easy uninstallation.
- If you have other mods that modify Sanctuary, check load order and place this mod after them to ensure the bridge fix applies.
- After installing, fast travel away and back to Sanctuary to see the changes and verify NPCs are using the bridge correctly.
