📋 About This Mod
I've always thought that the first people you meet once you leave the Vault are very underwhelming, and are very hard to sympathize with despite their situation. This mod, hopefully, changes that, while staying lore friendly.
Mama Murphy - She is now based off of her Concept Art; an African woman who looks like she has been through some sh*t. A much better improvement, and a definite nod to The Elder in Fallout 2.
Preston Garvey - A few subtle tweaks can make a lot of difference. He actually looks like a follower now instead of a randomly generated character.
Sturges - Again, a few small tweaks go a long way. He's like the Sturges we know, but now looks youthful and more how like the character would look like in his concept art (minus the glasses and tattoos).
Jun Long - The guy's lost his kid and we're supposed to feel sorry for a guy that barely looks human? If he wasn't called Jun, I would have never guessed he was based off an Asian man at first glance. I tried to keep his distraught and grieving look.
Marcy Long - I tried to make her look like how she was designed to be; an Asian woman who lost her son and is coping with her grief through anger, bitterness and depression. I also tried to make her look more exhausted from a lack of sleep, in contrast to Jun's crying.
I didn't use any Mod customization, all assets are from the base game so there shouldn't be any conflict unless you already use a mod that changes the appearance of these 5 characters. Also, their appearance may vary depending on what different skin or eye textures you use.
Known Issues - There is a vertex glitch on Mama Murphy's jaw/lower cheek. I tried my damn best to remove it, with no luck. It appeared out of nowhere while I was creating her and I was not gonna start again as I had almost finished her when it appeared. Sorry about this. If anyone thinks they can fix it, be my guest and try. Let me know if you do.
Installation
1. Download with your mod manager then activate.
2. OR manually, download and drag and drop the file into your Data folder.
