📋 About This Mod
This is an updated build of OnlyIWeDo's excellent Remember Lockpick Angle. He hasn't updated it but has kindly said people are free to use the source code, so I've adapted it to Fallout 4 (he posted the SKSE source code) and found and updated the memory address for the newer version of FO4 / F4SE.
Big thanks to both Umgak and lStewieAL who took the time to give me detailed instructions and feedback on how to work out the memory address (both more or less did the work themselves to help explain it, and lStewieAL even built me a plugin to tide me over until I worked it out myself). Both deserve a point of Kudos if you have a moment to spare!
What It Does
The mod installs a new F4SE plugin "RememberPickAngleUpdated.dll" into the F4SE plugins directory.
With this plugin in place, the function that resets the pin angle when a pin breaks is overwritten and will not execute, so the pin remains at the same angle.
Installation
Mod Manager: Install as usual
Manual: extract RememberPickAngleUpdated.dll and place into your Fallout 4\Data\F4SE\Plugins folder.
Compatibility
It's a single F4SE plugin that only affects one function so unless you have another mod which specifically targets the lockpick reset function it should be compatible with everything.
