Recruit Father Gabe

Father Gabe is a ghoul priest at the Union's Hope Cathedral in Cambridge. When found, he is fighting one or more ghouls, but even if you help him, he is hostile to your character. Recruit Father Gabe as Companion, by Morgosus, allows you to recruit Father Gabe as a companion (obviously), and is a mod I've recommended more than once. Despite these recommendations, however, I had a request to make him recruitable as a normal settler, so here he is.

Recruitment occurs through vanilla rescue dialog, and as noted in my other mods that offer recruitment in this fashion, the game gives you only one chance to do so. If the dialog prompt appears but you break contact or select the wrong dialog tree, you will not be given a second chance to recruit him. This is the game's default setting for rescue recruitment, and I don't know how to change it, so I recommend making a save before entering the church in case something goes awry.

In any event, once recruited, Father Gabe can be sent to any settlement in your network and will function as any other settler, including inventory management. See the screen shots for examples of him working various settlement jobs.

Compatibility

Obviously, this mod is not compatible with the mod linked above, but otherwise, it should be compatible with anything that does not modify his NPC (Actor) record.
