📋 About This Mod

Description:

The series continues! From Skyrim to Fallout! Because fallout deserves immersion as well!

Ever wondered why NPC's always seems to have a longer pause between each sentence? Well No more, They are actually talking like people should do now.

Every social logic in Fallout for NPC's is changed, they talk more often to each others. And will less likely greet to you from a distance, they will also greet less often too, making them to not act as much as robots. NPC's are also more clever and will know for example if they talked to a NPC and will therefore talk to another or not talk at all. After some time, they talk again with each others.

Expressions is also overhauled, they express themselves when they actually should.

Emotions is as well overhauled, You can see how the NPC's face look more alive.

The time when NPC's eats is overhauled as well, now NPC's will eat at a more regular time like lunch: 12-1pm, Dinner 4-5pm. Player will comment more when skipping a dialogue and much much more!

Additionally, I included the option to increase the amount of active NPC's at one cell. It doesn't magically add more NPC's it just makes it possible, so enjoy visiting your settlements with many NPC's or running into a battlefield with a huge amount of NPC's fighting.

Did you accidentally run in to some stuff, and NPC's start to yell at you?

Well it won't happen as often now, It happen way too often in vanilla.

This is a must-have mod for anyone that has sound on while playing.

📊 Pros & Cons

✅ Pros

  • Huge community trust with 13,367 endorsements and 1M downloads.
  • Directly tackles a common immersion-breaker: NPCs shouting greetings from afar.
  • Simple concept that fits seamlessly into vanilla gameplay.

⚠️ Cons

  • Last updated in 2018 — may have compatibility issues with current game patches or DLC.
  • No detailed documentation or patch notes provided, so you're flying blind on exact changes.
  • Only affects social frequency, not deeper dialogue or AI — don't expect a full overhaul.
🎯 Is This For You?
For Fallout 4 players who want a more natural wasteland without overhaul mods. If you're tired of NPCs acting like greeting robots, this is a subtle fix. Skip if you're looking for major dialogue expansions or AI changes.

💡 Beginner Tips

  • Since it's a simple ESP, place it near the bottom of your load order to avoid conflicts with other gameplay mods.
  • If you use a mod manager like Vortex, let it handle the load order automatically — it's a single file.
  • Test in a busy area like Diamond City to see the difference immediately.
