There is now a light source that can be activated. It's based on the mining helmet & power armor headlamps. The visor or the flashlight piece on the right side of the helmet illuminates. The color of the light will always match your visor color glow. The 7 light mods include red, extra bright, blue, purple, green, orange & yellow. The lights are enabled to cast shadows. The helmet can be crafted at the chem workbench under:

It can also be found west of Gunners Plaza inside an old train car

There are 12 faction decals that can be applied to further customize the helmet. I included a targeting HUD based off the vanilla power armor detect life effect. The effect in my mod highlights heat , life and death. There is also a low light night vision based off the night person perk. Target HUD activates when player is in crouch/stealth mode. All options can be accessed at the armor workbench. Note that only one light source works at a time. If you use the visor light you can't use the flashlight at the same time. Ballistic weave is available if you have finished the railroad quest. Male and female helmets.

Installation

-You must first install the original mod here.

-Use a mod manager to install the mod (tested & used with Nexus Mod Manager Community Edition 0. 70. 8)

-Main file is an ESP Lite. This means that the file is tagged as an ESL but will show up as an esp in your load order. It will NOT count towards your plugin list.

Known Issues

This mod uses custom add on nodes numbering: 8253, 8254, 8255, 8256, 8257, 8258, 8259, 8260, 8261, 8262, 8263, 8264, 8265 and 8266. If you are using a mod that uses the same numbers for their add on nodes then there will be a conflict. See this page to get more info.

The flashlight attachment produces light fall off that has hard / sharp edges. This seems to be an engine bug. Recommend using the visor light options.
