📋 About This Mod
Thrown like a grenade, triggered like a mine. These Proximity Bombs are the best of both worlds.
PROXIMITY BOMBS
Proximity Bombs are exactly what their name implies, bombs that explode in proximity to enemies. Unlike mines, however, these bombs have a throwing mechanism like a grenade. Toss one in a doorway, get the enemy to chase you - BOOM. Dead bad guy.
ESL Version available.
Currently, they come in five flavors. All are crafted under Grenades at the Chem Station. Each recipe requires some Adhesive and a Proximity Sensor, which is on the same menu. The Proximity Sensor requires Demolitions 2, as do most of the bombs.
Spike Bomb - 1 Frag Grenade, 1 Proximity Sensor, 6 Railway Spikes, 6 Adhesive - More damage than a frag grenade, can pin limbs.
Fire Bomb - 4 Oil, 2 Steel, 1 Proximity Sensor, 2 Adhesive - Sets enemies on fire.
Cryo Bomb - 1 Cryogenic Grenade, 1 Proximity Sensor, 2 Adhesive - Can freeze enemies.
Plasma Bomb - 2 Plasma Grenades, 1 Proximity Sensor, 4 Adhesive - Double the output of a Plasma Grenade in one tidy package. Requires Demo 3.
Mini-Nuke - 1 Mini Nuke, 1 Proximity Sensor, 3 Adhesive - It's a Mini-Nuke, it goes boom like one. Requires Demo 4.
