Perks Shmerks

Ever wondered why should staggering someone with a Power Armor crash require you to be a Hercules incarnate? Maybe had a question like "why shouldn't I be able to turn my attention to one thing at a time?"? Or perhaps a vague "gain a chance" description pissed you off? I know it did piss me off: hell, 0. 1% is also "a chance", as well as 99. 9%. So, Bethesda, it works like this: you fuck up normal Fallout leveling, we fuck up your fucked up system. Sounds fair? It does to me. Especially as I clean up your Microsoft-style descriptions that don't really tell people how stuff works.

What does this mod do? It lets you pick any perk, any time, no matter what the requirements say, as long as you have perk points available. It also offers detailed, precise perk descriptions. You can select either one in the fomod installer.

Some technical notes:

• []This mod requires all DLCs except the HD DLC []This mod also requires Unofficial Fallout 4 Patch (if it's the first time you use the patch, place it directly under the game's .esm files in your load order) []There will be no version that doesn't require DLCs or Unofficial Fallout Patch. You're welcome to make and upload one if you want, though.

Compatibility issues:

• []This mod is INCOMPATIBLE with any mod that changes perk properties, such as values and descriptions. If you need that mod to take precedence, place it under Perks Shmerks in your load order. []This mod SHOULD BE COMPATIBLE with mods that alter perk chart layouts or any other visual content.

Patch requests: I'm taking general patch requests, but no guarantees. I'm NOT taking patch requests for overhaul mods like FROST, and mods that change gameplay basics, such as Critical Hits outside of V. A. T. S. However, if you make a patch like this, I will be glad to add it to the list and give you full credit. Just make sure it's based on the latest version of Shmerks, alright?
