Each new version of overdue book you find in the world will reward you with a standard overdue book you can use at the token machine. The buildable variants won't.

Base Object Swapper is hard requirement if you want the new items to appear throughout the world. If you are only interested in buildable settlement object you can use this mod without BOS.
If you are not interested in building books, there's an esp in the misc files that keeps swaps, but removes items from the settlement workshop.
