Overdue Book Recolor

DESCRIPTION

This is a simple mod that I made in 10 minutes, that turned out to be very useful.

Using the original diffuse texture for the Overdue Books to keep the original design intact, I recolored the cover of the book to make them more visible and noticeable by tweaking the saturation and contrast of the cover, and a little bit the definition of the texture in general with sharpness. Those are the only changes I made, the size is the same as before (512x512 pixels). Now those books are easier to spot but without the "out-of-place" feeling from a more extreme modification.

The reason I made this is because I usually miss these books if I don't know they're there, because most of the time I confuse them with burnt books.

If you're looking for a complete overhaul of the textures (diffuse and normal textures) in higher resolutions like 1024x1024 pixels (1K) or 2048x2048 pixels (2K), I recommend deanoman's Overdue Book Retexture 2K instead.

HOW TO INSTALL • If you're using mods on Fallout 4 you should know by now how, but if not, refer to this guide. • Extract in the Data folder of the game ("..\Fallout 4\Data").

UNINSTALL • Close the game and delete the file "..\Fallout 4\Data\Textures\Props\OverdueBook_d. DDS".

• This mod is exclusive for Nexus Mods site. I won't upload this anywhere else, and anyone should not upload this to any site. • This mod was meant for the PC version of Fallout 4 only.
