📋 About This Mod
FILE IS ESL FORMAT - WILL NOT TAKE UP PRECIOUS MOD SPACE LIMIT IN TERMS OF 255 LIMIT FOR PLUGINS AND IF YOU LIKE THE MOD ENDORSE
This mod buffs named enemies you'll encounter in the commonwealth. For example Hammer the Super Mutant, Ack-Ack the raider leader, and important enemies like Kellog. The goal is to make these named encounters tougher and harder and more memorable worthy of being called a boss battle. Basically expect these enemies to be really tough and no cakewalk. Bring explosives and everything you've got for them. Remember Power Armor exists for a reason, USE IT.
Named enemies have higher health, damage, and resistances. Doesn't touch normal mobs only named bosses like kellog, swan, ack-ack, Jared, Skinny Malone, etc. Safe to download and if you don't like the stat changes you can easily remove it if it's too hard for you. Zero risk involved !
Now includes all DLCs in the optional files. You can also pick the DLCs you have individually.
This is a work in progress if there's any bugs or if you want to provide feedback feel free I'll look into things.
If there's any mod conflicts put this mod before the other mods so those mods take priority. Worst case scenario download F04Edit and look for the conflicts in red in this mod and delete the specific characters giving issues or merge files.

✨ Key Features
📊 Pros & Cons
✅ Pros
- Community-approved with 277 endorsements and over 21k downloads
- Turns forgettable named enemies into real threats, adding challenge for veteran players
- Works across all DLCs, so you get consistent difficulty spikes everywhere
⚠️ Cons
- Last updated in 2020 — may have compatibility issues with current game patches
- Only buffs named enemies, so regular mobs remain unchanged — might feel inconsistent
For Fallout 4 players who find the base game too easy and want named enemies to feel like actual bosses. Skip if you prefer a more balanced difficulty curve or don't want to deal with potential mod conflicts.
💡 Beginner Tips
- Since this mod only affects named enemies, expect tougher fights in story missions and DLC areas — prepare accordingly with better gear and chems.
- If you use other difficulty mods, test early to see if the buffs stack or cause overpowered enemies.
- Make a save before installing so you can revert if the difficulty spike is too much.
