Non-DLC Wolf Dogmeat Mesh Replacer

What is this and what does it do?

Its simple mesh replacer that makes Dogmeat look less slightly cartoony German Shepard and more wolf like. Does NOT look like or have anything to do with Far Harbor wolves.

Important Notes:

• []This mesh does preserve the UVs for dogmeat for the most part, the slight catch being the the head is mirrored from the right side of the face. meaning everything on the right side of the texture on the face will show up as a mirror image on the left side as well. That means that if you are using a texture that has asymmetrical markings on the head they will instead show up as symmetrical if they are on the right side of the face originally or not at all if they were on the left side of the face originally. Many retextures I've seen use symmetry on the face so this won't be a problem for most people. Just giving a heads up anyway.
  • []Speaking of textures, this mod DOES NOT COME WITH TEXTURES, it is a MESH REPLACER ONLY! All parts of the mesh are set up to use vanilla Dogmeats material paths so if you don't have any replacer retextures installed you will see vanilla Dogmeats textures (see above image or the others in the Gallery to see how the mesh looks with the vanilla textures.)
    • []The lovely retexture used in some of the screenshots are from this mod: Wolfmeat - Wolf x Dogmeat Simple Re-colour by XantheWolf and I think goes really well with it.
      • []Yes, his upper canines do hang out of his mouth with this mesh as I made all his teeth a little bit longer. Personally I find the visible fangs cute but I suppose if enough people want a version with no visible teeth I may be persuaded to make one as an option.
        • Also, this mesh is a tad fluffier then vanilla Dogmeat which may or may not cause clipping with some outfits/accessories.
