📋 About This Mod
FAQ
READ THE HOLOTAPE TO GAIN A FULL UNDERSTANDING OF THE RADIO FUNCTIONS-Nothing happens after I install.
Sometimes the scripts don’t start up correctly. To fix, just uninstall this mod, load and save your game, then reinstall.
-Why do they sound funny?
Nothing I can do about it, not sorry.
-Can you port this to Xbox?
Nope, and neither can anyone else.
-Can you do xyz?
Probably not.
-Where is the Workshop?
It's a keypad by one of the doors, check screenshots to see.
-I heard there were more features?
I had to cut a few things (Affinity System, Auntie Dot, and Recruitment Quests) due to them not functioning as intended/at all.
I spent a few months on the quests, and despite them being set up correctly (based on several tutorials and examples from in game that I looked at), there were issues with things not firing off properly.
The affinity system I ended up with was much more basic than I was happy with, but also complex enough that I couldn't develop it any further, so I scrapped it.
For Auntie Dot, I tried 4 different methods to make it work, and wasn't happy with any of them, so I scrapped that for now. Actively working on adding this in for a future update.
KNOWN BUGS
-Using the Radio to recruit them while in the Noble Safehouse (and maybe all interiors) causes a lag in the script, and it will take a few seconds for them to actually follow you.
-Hack/Unlock scenes sometimes bug, and they get stuck. No current fix.
-You can't damage Noble Team, but if you shoot them enough, they'll turn hostile. Haven't figured out how to stop that from happening yet.
My Other Mods
Noble Team Companions Redux adds 6 fully voiced followers to Fallout 4, featuring a Command Radio System similar to FCOM and over 2,000 voice lines. This is a significant upgrade from the original mod's 250 lines, offering a rich companion experience without occupying a companion slot.
✨ Key Features
📊 Pros & Cons
✅ Pros
- Huge voice acting upgrade: 2,000+ lines vs. original 250, so conversations feel alive.
- No companion slot usage means you can have your usual buddy plus these Spartans.
- Community favorite: 955 endorsements and 117k downloads show it's proven.
⚠️ Cons
- Last updated in 2020, so might have issues with newer game patches or DLC.
- Radio command system may feel clunky if you're used to vanilla companion controls.
For Fallout 4 players who want Halo's Noble Team as companions without sacrificing their usual follower. Great for lore-friendly crossover fans and those who enjoy commanding squads. Skip if you prefer vanilla companions or dislike mods that add non-lore characters.
