I really like LarannKiar's series of "Recruit As A Settler" mods, I think they go great with SS2, and bring a pretty cool mechanic and expanding the vanilla content.
I am not a fan, however, of having stuff thrown in my pip boy at game start. I prefer to encounter this kind of thing randomly in the world. So, here's a very simple patch that just disables the objectives for said mods, making it so the quest doesn't show up in your pip boy.
