📋 About This Mod
There's a couple other mods that do this on the nexus, but as far as I can tell, all of them come with some other minor adjustments as well.
This one just takes the Local Leader requirement off crafting workbenches. Nothing else. (Power Armor stations still need armorer.)
There's also now additional files that remove the local leader requirement from Stores. There's a version that only does this for first level stores, one that does it for ALL stores, and a third version that removes ALL perk requirements from ALL stores. Only use one of these three.
All are light plugins so they don't take up a slot in your load order.

This Fallout 4 mod removes the Local Leader 2 perk requirement for crafting stations, and a separate file does the same for stores. It's a simple quality-of-life tweak for players who want to build without investing in that perk. With 849 endorsements and recent updates, it's a popular, lightweight solution.
✨ Key Features
📊 Pros & Cons
✅ Pros
- Community-approved with 849 endorsements and over 100k downloads
- Does exactly what it says—no bloat, just removes the perk requirement
- Recently updated (September 2025), so likely works with current game version
⚠️ Cons
- Only affects crafting stations and stores—doesn't touch other Local Leader requirements
- Requires manual file selection if you want both crafting and store fixes
For Fallout 4 players who hate grinding the Local Leader perk just to build crafting stations or assign vendors. Perfect for settlement builders who want a more streamlined experience. Skip if you enjoy the perk progression or want a more comprehensive overhaul.
💡 Beginner Tips
- If you use a mod manager like Vortex, just download and install—no extra steps needed.
- For manual install, drop the ESP into your Data folder and enable it in the load order.
- If you want both fixes, grab both files—they're separate, so you can pick one or both.
