📋 About This Mod
THIS WILL PROBABLY BE BUGGY - BACK UP ALL YOUR SAVES
Made with FO4Edit
FEATURES As the title suggests, this mod completely removes the build-height limit and the boundaries for MOST settlements. I am still working on the rest. Settlers can make use of the extra space (see screenshots) but I have no idea what the long-term affects of this mod are. Obviously, the more you build the more this will tax your system, but the FPS seem to take a hit by building too far away from the original boundary too. The height limit is now set to the "reset point"; This is as high as the game will allow you to go, any higher and it teleports you back down to the ground (But as you can see from the screenshots, it should be high enough for most people).
The Green boundary wall will still look like normal but you will be able to build past it.
Currently supported settlements: - Sanctuary - Red Rocket - Relay Tower - Coastal Cottage - Nordhagen - Ten Pines - Castle - Warwick - Kingsport - Finch Farm - Jamaica Plain - Bunker Hill - Croup Manor - Covenant - Starlight Drive In - Sunshine Tidings
Currently Unsupported
RECOMMENDED EXTRA FILES Increased Settler Population and Infinite Budget
OPTIONAL FILES No Height Limits - Boundaries remain untouched but all height limits are removed
INSTALLATION Install like any other mod: Mod Manager is HIGHLY recommended and does everything for you Otherwise, extract your chosen version to your data folder "\Steam\SteamApps\common\Fallout 4\Data" and make sure you are set up to use mods.
CHANGELOG V1. 1 - NoSettlementLimits - Fixed various placement issues on static objects (houses in Sactuary, etc). V1 - Sets height limit and boundaries to 9999999 (the highest value that you can set)
DISCLAIMER I made these files quickly and decided to release them. As such, if you decide to use this mod you accept full responsibility for anything that may occur, save corruptions, CTDs, etc. Whilst this is unlikely, you must be aware it is still a possibility. <

📊 Pros & Cons
✅ Pros
- Huge community trust (3,503 endorsements) — this is a go-to for settlement builders
- Over 119k downloads prove it's been tested by tons of players
- Simple, focused mod — does exactly what it says without bloat
⚠️ Cons
- Last updated in 2015 — might not work with the latest Fallout 4 patches or DLC
- Only covers 'most' settlements — some may still have limits
- No documentation or install instructions provided by the author
For Fallout 4 settlement builders who hate the arbitrary height and boundary limits. If you're into creative, unrestricted construction, this is a must-have. Skip if you only build within vanilla constraints or want more complex settlement overhauls.
