📋 About This Mod
ccpyy4MgCaoHave you ever noticed how Nick's Far Harbor voice lines sound very deep and lower-pitched than his base game voice? This mod aims to solve that inconsistency.
I went through every one of his Far Harbor voice line files that are actually used, increased their pitch and applied a few other adjustments in Audacity, then repackaged them into .fuz files while keeping the same .lip files.

This small audio mod raises the pitch of Nick Valentine's dialogue in the Far Harbor DLC for Fallout 4. It's a niche cosmetic tweak for players who want a different vocal tone from the synth detective. With 229 endorsements and 16,743 downloads, it has a modest following. Last updated in 2020, it may not be compatible with the latest game patches.
✨ Key Features
📊 Pros & Cons
✅ Pros
- Community-tested with 229 endorsements and over 16k downloads—plenty of players have given it a shot.
- Does exactly what it says: changes Nick's pitch in Far Harbor, no bloat or extra features.
- Zero dependencies—just drop it in and go, no need to juggle other mods.
⚠️ Cons
- Last updated in 2020—might break with newer game patches or DLC updates.
- Only affects Far Harbor dialogue, so if you want pitch changes elsewhere, this won't help.
For Fallout 4 players who want a fresh take on Nick Valentine's voice during Far Harbor, maybe for a more comedic or eerie playthrough. If you're a purist who likes the original voice, skip it—this is purely a cosmetic audio tweak.
💡 Beginner Tips
- Since it's a manual install, just extract the files into your Fallout 4 Data folder and enable the plugin in your load order.
- If you're using a mod manager like Vortex, you can install it there too—just make sure it's active before launching the game.
- Test it early in Far Harbor to see if the pitch change is what you wanted; if not, you can easily remove the mod.
