IMPORTANT NOTICE
The latest version of this mod overhauls the quest so that it will no longer track the creature holding the weapon and instead tracks the weapon itself. In order to achieve this i had to rebuild the entire quest. You will most likely need to do a clean install of the mod if you experience any problems after the update as redoing the quest has changed the IDs of all entries in the .esp
Introduction
Welcome to the number eight, and for now final Weapon of my New Vegas Uniques Recreated series. In this series i will recreate some of my favorite unique New vegas weapons. As basis for the weapons i will use Fallout 4 weapons as i do not have very good modelling skills. As a result of using Fallout 4 weapons as a base some of these will look different from their original counterparts but i will aim to keep them as close as possible. Each of these weapons will come with a Creation Club like mini quest to pinpoint you to the location so you do not need to search aimlessly. If the weapon is in the hands of a enemy, it will be an enemy that is easy to distinquish from the rest. Unlike in New Vegas, each weapon is also moddable. Lastly, i have tried to keep the weapon stats as correct as possible. Hope you enjoy these recreations and don't be afraid to comment if you find something off in them or would like to suggest updates.
Description
This time im bringing back the CZ57 Avenger Minigun from New Vegas. This was requested from me by raidertech. For those who do not know and those who don't remember, CZ57 Avenger was the minigun designed by rockwell to be a replacer for the current minigun (CZ53). The Avenger's design improvements include improved gel-fin cooling and chromium plated barrel-bores, giving it a greater range and lethality. Im personally Very happy how the Barrel turned out depsite being built from the original minigun barrel, i think i got it very close to the original while still retaining Fallout 4 asthetics. The Weapon the CZ57 Avenger comes with Both a new Long and Short Barrel modelled based on the New Vegas weapon. Stat wise the weapon is perfectly identical to New Vegas with half ammo capacity in exchange for Lighter weight, Faster Firing Speed, Slightly higher damage and less spread. This gives the minigun higher DPS overall, just like in New Vegas.
