More Explosive Gore for Fallout 4

This was inspired by Feral Ghouls Heads Explode. A great mod, but I felt it could be made a little bit better. That idea spiraled into this.

While Feral Ghouls Heads Explode did add more gore to a headshot, there wasn't any satisfying exploding effect with a nice sound effect. So I set about trying to figure out what was missing. Sure enough, I found the explosive effect that gives that sound and force to a destroyed limb. First I applied it to the head and then the limbs, and it seemed to do the trick. But while I was perusing the body part data I realized a lot of creatures in the game lacked this effect on most of their limbs. So I decided to add it to everything I could. Some might not do much, but a few of the ones I tested definitely made a difference.

Mirelurks and Insects use the insect explosive effect for their body parts.

Everything else uses the normal red gore explosive effect.

I also added blood effects, but I'm less sure how well that works. Make sure to report anything strange.

Mirelurks get the pus blood effect.

Insects get the clear blood effect.

Everything else gets the red blood effect.

I also took the liberty of adding the insect sound effect, taken from the bloatfly explosion, to the insect explosion. It used the regular limb explosion sound effect before which I found somewhat odd.

As far as compatibility goes, anything that affects body part data or that insect explosive effect will need to be patched. Otherwise it should be pretty compatible. This is an esl flagged esp so its both lightweight and easy to manage. Requires Far Harbor and Nuka World.

Just to be clear, this mod doesn't add anything custom to the game. It just shuffles around existing effects for a little more spice. I'm not sure how well this works with other gore overhauls, but I imagine they shouldn't conflict too much so long as its mostly just textures.
