💬 INTRODUCTION

The vanilla NV scopes always bugged me as being very unrealistic-looking and not very easy to see through either. While working on a massive range overhaul for the combat & double barrel shotguns, I decided that the updated Night Vision effect I had put together was better served as a standalone mod. This mod also serves as an update to ChoiceSpecsMawile's Dynamic Night Vision Scopes, as I've included an optional patch with improvements. The original mod automatically turns off your new NV scopes during the day and back on at night. His/her mod is a  requirement for the patch.

⚙️ WHAT THIS MOD DOES

Replaces vanilla NV scope effect with what's currently being used by the military. Note that you should be using Darker Nights with this mod, as honestly, I don't even know why you would need NV without out it.

📑 DYNAMIC NIGHT VISION SCOPES PATCH

The original mod automatically turns off the NV effect during the day between 6am and 8pm. Making your gun actually usable during the day with a Night Vision scope. There is a slight delay sometimes where the effect takes a second to turn on and off. This was present in the original mod and I was not able to fix this. Still far better to have than not to.

I added a couple of oversights into The Dynamic NV patch. The original mod author accidentally left out the NV scope for the Missile Launcher and unnecessarily removed the keywords for all of the NV scopes. Doing so removed the game's ability to tag the name of the weapon with 'Night Vision' in your inventory.

I've also added the NV scopes for the Handmade Rifle, Radium Rifle, and Lever-action Rifle as well. Choose either the DLC or No DLC patch.

🔗 COMPATIBILITY

Modern Night Vision won't conflict with anything. The Dynamic NV patch will conflict with any mod that edits the Night Vision scopes. Both are fully compatible with See Through Scopes.
