Mindwipe - Perks and SPECIAL Respec Chem

So here's a little story of why this mod exist:

There's this respec mod https://www.nexusmods.com/fallout4/mods/12383

It has capitalized naughty words in it. It was kind of off-putting seeing them in game, so I modified it and reupload it in that same mod page. (Just the esp, no ba2 so you'll still have to download the main file)

Then the next day, the mod author blocked me from the page and deleted the comment =.= all right.

I messaged him asking why he blocked me, and he said:

"Taking someone else's work, making your personal changes to it, and then publishing it without the original author's consent or even their knowledge is not only disrespectful in the extreme, it's also theft. Sharing it on the original file page is hilarious in its audacity, but the outcome should not surprise you."

Disrespectful, yeah you can say that. Thief? Not really since you will still get the same amount of downloads (If you even care about that) and it's on the same page, so your name's right there. I did the same with the Institute Sky mod as well and there seems to be no problem with it.

For example, if I take something in a store, apply a different paint to it that some people requested for, and put it in a different place, is that thievery? I don't think so.

To be honest, I asked him just to see how he would respond.

If he's the edgelord that I thought he might be that insist on keeping the naughty words in there, then maybe I'll just feel better knowing he's a lost cause.

Well -- his response seems all right overall and that's reassuring. (Because I usually can't stand that type of behavior)

I was about to apologize to him because even though people get the alternate version, I'm still in the wrong since I got no permission to do that, but he blocked me on the chat as well for some reason. RIP

All right. ishmaeltheforsaken, if you're somehow reading this, I apologize for my rude behavior. I just want to provide an alternate version for the players who prefer a more "vanilla" content in their game.

Well, that doesn't matter now since as I'm blocked from all of his mods, I can't use that mod anymore in the future (unless I log off to download it or get it on BS.net) -- thus I am forced to make my own version. This way there's no permission issue.

Basically, this mod does the same thing, except it also reset the SPECIAL stats to 1 too.

If you prefer just resetting the perks, you can use ishmaeltheforsaken's version. The DDProduction83 version doesn't work for me, but you might want to give it a try.
