📋 About This Mod

"The Brotherhood's got a lifetime supply of nuclear ordinance thanks to you." -Proctor Teagan

...and what does the Player Character get? A few loose Mini Nukes and a pat on the back. Great for storytelling purposes; but for gameplay, not so much.

Inspired by Fort Strong - No Brotherhood of Steel by JLF65; I wanted a mod that covered all Fatman Crates in vanilla and modded Fallout 4, so I made one.

This mod converts all Static Fatman Crates into lootable Containers with enough material to construct roughly 8 to 12 Mini Nukes per crate.

The main version of this mod covers crates found at:

  • []Boston Airport[/]

    []Fort Strong Sublevel[/]

    []Mechanist Lair[/]

    []Prydwen Main Deck[/]

The optional version of this mod(requires the main version to be installed) covers crates found at:

  • []Prydwen Command Deck[/]

This mod makes the following changes to Mini Nuke parts:

  • []Parts can be used to construct Mini Nukes[/]

[]Parts are no longer workshop scrappable[/]

[]Parts can be converted to workshop scrappable items (with higher component output than vanilla)[/]

[]Parts now have weight and value to reflect the weight and value of a single Mini Nuke in Survival[/]

The Base Object Swapper version of this mod will also convert any other mod placed Fatman Crates into containers.

Currently all crafting occurs via the Chemistry Station under the secondary Utility group.

One Mini Nuke requires:

  • []5x Adhesive[/]

    []1x Mini Nuke Beryllium Cap[/]

    []1x Mini Nuke Detonator Shell[/]

    []1x Mini Nuke Hemisphere Core[/]

    []1x Mini Nuke Stabilizer Fins[/]

    []8x Screws[/]

Each part converts to the following:

  • []Mini Nuke Beryllium Cap->Scrapped Mini Nuke Beryllium Cap[/]

[]Mini Nuke Detonator Shell->Scrapped Mini Nuke Detonator Shell[/]

[]Mini Nuke Hemisphere Core->Scrapped Mini Nuke Hemisphere Core[/]

[]Mini Nuke Stabilizer Fins->Scrapped Mini Nuke Stabilizer Fins[/]

For component output of scrapped parts, refer to the image gallery.

Notice:

Recipes will not appear in the Chemistry Station unless you have the requisite Mini Nuke parts in your inventory.

A lifetime supply?

Assuming the following:

  • []Both main and optional files are installed.[/]

[]There are 69 sealed Fatman Crates yielding a minimum of 8 Mini Nukes per crate.[/]

[]There are 2 opened Fatman Crates yielding a minimum of 6 Mini Nukes per crate.[/]

That results in a minimum of 564 Mini Nukes.

And taking into account that the crates at Boston Airport (15 sealed crates) and Prydwen Command Deck (2 sealed crates) reset their inventory whe
