📋 About This Mod
This is a rework of Longfellow's Island, which includes a new lore friendly home for Longfellow and an interior cell barn home for the player (which features a functioning kitchen and large storage closet). The settlement menu is still active, functioning, and ready to use. You can take companions to the settlement and store them at the settlement without issue. I have straightened the boardwalk that runs around the island, cleaned the area up, and left plenty of room for you to build more barn housing/settlement stuff if you wish to do so.
I have been on hiatus for a while, so this is my first mod in a while. Please be patient with me as I get back into things after having no constant internet connection for a while, and now a very slow one.
This mod uses mostly vanilla items/retextured vanilla items, and only requires all DLCs. I will not be making a version without a DLC master, as I simply do not have the time to go back through it. Sorry.
INCOMPATIBILITIES/BUGS
Obviously any mods that edit Longfellow's Island/Cabin/the settlement. I have not come across any other mods that are incompatible with this, however I run mostly cosmetic mods so I cannot say for certain that it is 100% compatible with every single mod out there. Incompatibilities are not bugs. Please do not report them as such.
If you are not using a nice retexture for the vines, the ivy will just look like vanilla blegh. Lighting will vary in exterior and interior cells depending on what mods/ENB/reshade you are using etc.
The mod has been cleaned in Fallout 4 Edit and tested, however I have not looked into manually deleting any conflicting navmeshes as of yet. If you have the time to help, please message me and I'm happy to add you as a co-creator. I work 40 hours a week now and have little free time outside of work. That being said, I have not experienced NPCs walking anywhere they shouldn't or becoming stuck on things.
WHERE DO I FIND THE KEYS TO UNLOCK THE THINGS?
- The key for the barn home is in a paint tin on the shipwrecked boat that is directly in front of the barn home.
- The key for the awesome walk in storage closet in the player home is in the small red and silver chest in the bed head.
WILL YOU UPLOAD THIS TO BETHESDA?
Yes, of course. Once any bugs that may pop up are ironed out, I will upload it for console. Unfortunately it will not be available for PS4 due to Sony's rules.
