Version 5. 1 is now available at  https://jewelofthecommonwealth.xyz.

This is a maintenance update.  The update includes corrections for consistency and accuracy, a few example videos, and a few added/dropped mods. See the changelog for more details.

If you've completed the guide and want to update, simply observe the mods added/removed section of the changelog.

Alright, folks, it's live. JOTC 5. 0 is here. If you decide to take on this mission, please let me know if anything looks, feels or tastes amiss.

Some highlights:

The guide uses Old-Gen (1. 10. 163) for the most compatibility, stability, and the least Bethesda-induced bullshit.

Just for fun, there are more quotes from NPCs at the top of most pages. In addition to quotes, I've started inserting random tips into the quote boxes.

There are persistent checkboxes so you can track your progress. They'll only be reset if you either click the reset button or clear your brower's cache.

You'll be informed when you can add the ESL flag to plugins at the end of every section, and also when you can pack loose textures for better performance.

There are tooltips on words that can benefit from being defined. I hope to expand this feature over time.

Patches are mostly modular, since there is a 4096 ESL plugin limit and no real need to keep the number of plugins down.
