This mod is small and simple: in the grenade section of your chemistry workbench, you'll find new items starting with 'IXC'.
The IntrexCorp Standard Glow Marker is economical and user friendly, and can be indispensable in your darkest hour (and locations).
These are available in green, blue, and red, and you get 10 markers for 1 glass and 1 nuclear material. These have 10 hour life.
IntrexCorp High Intensity Taggers (H. I. T) are brighter but more costly glow markers, with shorter lives of approximately 4 hours.
Their added weight helps in throwing them longer distances.
These are available in green and blue, with a Super model providing even brighter green light.
The prototype IntrexCorp Pocket Sun is the brightest possible glow marker, with a much reduced life span. Use these very sparingly.
Notable points:
1 - Glow markers may be picked up and carried after deployment, serving as an ersatz lantern
2 - Glow markers will appear in VATS, serving to guide you back to it if needed
3 - Glow markers are, essentially, nuclear powered glowsticks... and a glowstick is a handy thing.
