📋 About This Mod
This mod...
Overhauls, adds more enemies and details to Saugus Ironworks, making it into a true and deadly fortress for the Forged raider gang. Fixes clipping and floating objects from vanilla. Beds, food, and much more to make the location feel like a place actual people sleep, eat, kill and shit in.
Does NOT add weapons, armor, or unique NPCs. Affects the interior and exterior cells of Saugus Ironworks and nowhere else.
This mod is supposed to be as clean and compatible as possible.
Doesn't touch Slag's cell, in order to have zero risk of breaking the quest related to this location.
Compatible with the next-gen update and Creation Club content.
Lore-Friendly?
For sure. Mixes DLC and base game objects for variety in visuals.
(Requires Nuka World and Automatron.)
Balanced?
Yes and No.
It's built around being significantly harder than vanilla, even in the easiest difficulty.
Expect to be assaulted by high level enemies.
Stealth recommended.

✨ Key Features
📊 Pros & Cons
✅ Pros
- Community-approved with 252 endorsements and over 115k downloads—clearly a fan favorite.
- Adds meaningful challenge to a vanilla location, making it feel like a real stronghold.
- Lightweight and focused—no need for a dozen patches to get it working.
⚠️ Cons
- No detailed changelog or feature list provided, so you're going in somewhat blind.
- Last updated in February 2026—might not be compatible with future game updates or DLC.
- Only affects one location; if you're looking for a broader overhaul, this won't scratch that itch.
For Fallout 4 players who want to revisit a classic location with fresh teeth—more enemies, more cover, more danger. If you're a lore buff or enjoy fortified raider bases, this is right up your alley. Skip if you prefer vanilla difficulty or want changes across the whole Commonwealth.
