your raw meat is now called Cutlets not Whole and can be at the cooking station turned to ground, strips, or bites (cubes)
from there you can cook bacon (strips), Jerkey, bites (bites/cubes), steaks, roasts, ribs, and kebabs.
Safe to update mid game (at least I did as I was working on it)

A total rebuild from the ground up of my Hunting Overhaul https://mods.bethesda.net/#en/workshop/fallout4/mod-detail/811858.
After a while my hunting mod seemed to just cause CTDs so I took it back to spec and started over. The current build adds 3 new meats: Mystery Meat, Tainted (FEV) Mystery Meat and Synthetic Mystery Meat.
Tweaks Level lists:
Blood bugs now benefit from the double meat mag.
Raiders, BOS, gunners, kellog, triggermen, and feral ghouls drop Mystery Meat
Swan, super mutants drop tainted meat
synths gorilla can drop double meat
bramin chorses now can drop meat
Mirelurk and nukalurk queens drop double meat
Synths drop synthetic meat
