Hubology - Stop The Scam

What It Does?

It makes it so that the bonuses that you get from the Hubologists are permanent. It also adjusts the scaling of the intelligence bonus so that it isn't a progression (with the exception of the last bonus)

What / Who Are The Hubologists?

Why?

I pay good money - I get something valuable. Simple as that. Honor a good deal. Otherwise no one in sane mind will bargain: in this case, no one in sane mind would ever go through the Hubologists ranks on their second playthrough (or even first if they saw the spoilers).

What's Changed Exactly?

The original table is as following (picture is takes from the Wiki):

The prices are ... very predatory as you can see. Though the bonuses do stack and you can get up to +36 intelligence, it only works for 3600 seconds. Not a great deal.

The way this mod changes it is that now every AHS level will grant a permanent bonus of 1 to intelligence instead of the progressing temporary one. The last one grants +3 meaning that you can get +10 intelligence in total. Important thing is that this is an added bonus so it will not count towards the intelligence requirements for any perks.

Is It Balanced?

No. I can't fathom a meaningful way of making it balanced. Even if making it the minimal possible (i.e. only +1 from any rank) - when it's permanent, it's a very powerful boost regardless. The balance isn't the point here. I could probably make it so that the pay is higher, but the dialogue will be messed up - the NPC actually tell you the price in words in these quests.

  The "Better Balanced" version does not change AHS-1 to AHS6 inclusive, only altering the last two bonuses to +1 and +2 permanent intelligence.
