V2. 0: This update continues my efforts in making campsite more useful in a Horizon playthrough! I recently added the ability to craft chems at your camp, but I dont think that was enough. What I decided to do is to give you some survival abilities available to you only while camping.
2. 0 patch info:
You can now craft survival tool kits at the robotics workbench with the rest of the survival gear.
These tool kits can then be used to craft survival kits at the cooking pot at your camp. These survival kits give you a variety of special abilities, but you can only craft them at your camp and nowhere else. This means that since you cant craft the cooking pot until you have survival magazine 3, you cant craft survival kits until you have that magazine either.
Survival Kits have a ton of weight, so you cant just craft them and keep them. You must stop and set up camp and then use them whenever you want to access these abilities.
Survival Tool Kits:
-You can now craft Survival Tool Kits at the robotics workbench under the Survival Gear menu.
-Survival Tool Kits are supposed to represent a variety of resources that the sole survivor might need to jerry-rig some useful tools in their adventure.
-Survival Tool Kits are used as a component in crafting a variety of Survival Kits from within the cooking pot menu at your campsite.
-Survival Tool Kits dont require many resources but have a little bit of weight to them.
