This mod is part of my Improved Ecosystem Series that bolsters the Yao Guai in Fallout 4 to better balance the game and create a proper challenge while adhering to the natural food chain. The stats, hp, and damage resistance have been altered from 15% - 45%, depending on the type and legendary status.

Yao guai are a species of mutated American black bears. They were named by the descendants of Chinese internment camp survivors. These creatures are found in the Capital Wasteland, Zion Canyon, the Island, the Commonwealth, and Appalachia.

Yao guai are large, ursine animals that are descended from the bears that lived across America before the war. Due to their zombie-like appearance, Yao guai may be the bear equivalent of a ghoul, however, unlike human ghouls, they are not sterile, as evidenced by the presence of cubs.

Requirements: 

You only need the base game to use this and it should have zero compatibility issues. It is a .esl flagged .esp for ease of use and also in ESL format. It also should not matter where in the load order it is in as this only overrides the Yao Guai records in the fallout.esm.
