📋 About This Mod
Description
Definitely-not-Vanquish
A small project I was working on, now done. Procrastinating on one project while avoiding another...
You may need to start a new game for the outfits to appear for already existing Coursers (or just use the resurrect command on them). Newly spawned Coursers should work as intended.
-
[]Coursers & X6-88 will wear Mark VII Spartan armor (with some "artistic" liberties)
[
]The Coursers' Mark VII armor is very high-tier and lootable - ESL-flagged ESP file; so you can change where you want in your load order without it counting towards your ESP plugin limit
Requirements
Mark V(B) Armory (REQUIRED)
This mod replaces the Institute Coursers in Fallout 4 with Spartans from Halo Reach, giving them a Mark VII armor appearance. It's a cosmetic overhaul for players who want a sci-fi crossover aesthetic. With 121 endorsements and over 8,000 downloads, it has a modest following.
✨ Key Features
📊 Pros & Cons
✅ Pros
- Solid download-to-endorsement ratio (8,353 downloads, 121 endorsements) shows people are actually using it.
- Taps into the Halo x Fallout crossover fantasy—if you're into that, it's a no-brainer.
- Simple visual swap that doesn't mess with gameplay mechanics.
⚠️ Cons
- Only affects Coursers, so you'll see the change in a limited number of encounters.
- Potential compatibility issues with other mods that alter Courser appearances or Institute NPCs.
- No updates since September 2025, so it might not be actively maintained for future game patches.
For Fallout 4 players who love Halo and want to inject some Spartan flair into the Commonwealth. If you're tired of the default Courser look and want a badass sci-fi twist, this is for you. Skip if you're looking for gameplay changes—this is purely cosmetic.
💡 Beginner Tips
- Since it's a simple replacer, just drop the files into your Data folder or use a mod manager—no load order headaches.
- If you're using other mods that change Courser outfits, load this one after them to ensure it takes priority.
- Check the mod page for any optional patches if you use popular overhaul mods like Armorsmith Extended.
