Graygarden CTD Fix - Unofficial UFO4P Patch

• The Unofficial Fallout 4 Patch has been updated to v2. 1. 6, and with that update the bugs covered in this mod have been addressed directly by the patch. As such, I am discontinuing all future support and updates for this bugfix. You can still use this mod if you want. I'm fully aware that Fallout 4 v1. 10. 980 is rather controversial, and I don't make a habit of deleting my mod pages anyway. Many people will use the unofficial patch, but others may choose to remain on the old version of the game indefinitely. That choice is up to you to make.

  FAQ

  • How do I start using this mod?

    Just install it! No configuration or special steps necessary.

  Why isn't this already in the unofficial patch?
  • The patch updates very slowly, and the next update isn't due for a while. As a mod author, this is preferable to frequent, smaller updates. Cases like this where a hotfix is needed are the outlier rather than the rule. This updated file will be included in the next UFO4P release, at which point I'll just deprecate this mod.

  Why does the unofficial patch have a file that causes crashes?
  • Because nVidia broke things. The workshop border works fine on console, current AMD cards, and on older nVidia cards too. I wrote up some technical details on the issue, here.

  I have a newer nVidia card, why doesn't it crash for me?
  • You might have Buffout 4 or a similar mod installed, which fixes the crash. However, not everyone has or wants to use that.
