✨ Key Features
📊 Pros & Cons
✅ Pros
- Community favorite with 819 endorsements and nearly 16k downloads.
- Gives Nick real armor flexibility—he can finally tank properly with heavy armor.
- Simple quality-of-life fix that respects the lore (he's half synth, after all).
⚠️ Cons
- Last updated in 2015, so it may not be fully compatible with newer Fallout 4 patches or DLC.
- Only affects Nick Valentine—if you wanted this for other companions, you're out of luck.
- Potential conflicts with other mods that alter Nick's outfit or armor slots.
For Fallout 4 players who love bringing Nick Valentine along but hate his limited armor options. If you're a completionist who wants to gear up every companion, this is a must-have. Skip if you don't use Nick or prefer gameplay overhauls.
💡 Beginner Tips
- Make sure to load this mod after any mods that change Nick's default outfit to avoid conflicts.
- If you're using a mod manager, let it handle the file placement to keep your load order clean.
- Check your load order for other companion armor mods—this one should be placed to override them.
