GavMan's Cloister Gardens - SS2 plot Add-on

This is a plot add on pack for Sim Settlements 2 and requires that you also have SS2 Extended, which if you have the Sim Settlements 2 - All Chapters Pack is included with that download.

SS2 Extended may need to be enabled in your plugins, many of those pretty flowers are stored in Extended.

This was created with a downgraded version of Fallout 4 - does it work with the latest update... That I can't honestly tell you

The plots take up the full 2x2 area, with some extending a little beyond, details of which you can find in the Quirks section further down.

Tile the plots to create a large garden area

You can use adjacent plots with addition cloister gardens plans selected to create large gardens

The 7 designs can be tiled - just set down snapped together 2x2 foundations and then snap the required 2x2 plot types on those foundations.

Of the 7 designs 3 are made for being surrounded by other garden plots – and include a Fountain, a Large feature Tree, and a bandstand.

There are 2 corner designs, 1 for external corners with outer walkways along two sides, and the other with a walkway section in the corner for internal corners (if you want to have the walkway bend outwards – not needed if you just wanted to create square or rectangular shapes).

The last 2 designs have a walkway only along one side (the back of the plot) and are used for the sides of the overall tiled, with one having a full side, the other has an central entry from the rear.

When first selecting the plot from the ASAM (and a settler doesn’t auto assign and immediately begin building) the Level 0 will show a layout of the plot so you can enter build mode, pick up the plot and rotate and place down in the correct orientation.

There are narrow walkways along the edges of the designs which match to adjoining plots. To get the the small center stone look of the full flagstones the side and corner designs have overhanging objects outside of the plots 2x2 area to help achieve this look.

Once I eventually finish the buildings add-on they can mix and match up to create a full cloister look.

The buildings will be slightly oversized and do overlap some of the garden walkways.

You can of course just use them individually and work them into your own settlement layouts, it’s all up to you!
