Hi guys it's gaigestorm here, i've made a tutorial for those wanting to mod or have not yet acquired the knowledge to correctly make specular and normal maps. This tutorial shows you step by step, Detailed explanations of the maps and what you'll need to do them correctly and easily.
What is the file?:
I'ts a PDF file so you can hold onto it without having to keep coming back to the webpage.
Tools you'll need:
GIMP With Normal map plugins (Free Software)
Paint. Net (Free Software)
GIMP is for the normal maps creation and Paint.net is for the specular maps. GIMP can do both but Paint.net is just incredibly easy and quick to make and code properly.
