📋 About This Mod
Description
I cannot withstand the horrible vanilla TAA implementation, it makes me sick to my stomach. So I decided to deep-dive into the ocean and come up with something decent. This is only FSR 3. 1. 5 Anti-Aliasing without upscaling options. It will make the game look clean and sharp, and without ghosting in motion.

[]Configure the sharpness to your liking in the provided mod INI. Sharpness is controlled by the internal RCAS shader. This basically means it sharpens the image in a "smart" way. [/]

Replaces Fallout 4's vanilla TAA with FSR 3.1.5 anti-aliasing only — no upscaling — to deliver a cleaner, sharper image without motion ghosting. Sharpness is adjustable via an INI using the RCAS shader. Supports game versions 1.10.163, 1.10.984, 1.11.191/221 and ENB. Requires Address Library for F4SE Plugins.
✨ Key Features
📊 Pros & Cons
✅ Pros
- 246 endorsements and 4,345 downloads — the community clearly approves of the visual improvement.
- Covers multiple Fallout 4 versions and works with ENB, so it fits into most modded setups.
- The author specifically targets vanilla TAA's ghosting problem, and the RCAS sharpening keeps details crisp.
⚠️ Cons
- Only provides anti-aliasing — no FSR upscaling, so you'll need a separate upscaler if that's what you want.
- Not compatible with similar mods, meaning you have to remove other AA replacements before installing.
- Requires Address Library for F4SE Plugins, adding an extra dependency to your load order.
For Fallout 4 players who are fed up with the blur and ghosting of vanilla TAA and want a sharper, cleaner image without switching to upscaling. Ideal if you already run ENB or play on recent game versions. Skip if you want FSR upscaling or already use another AA mod.
💡 Beginner Tips
- Install Address Library for F4SE Plugins before this mod — it's a hard requirement and won't load without it.
- If you're on ENB, make sure it's up to date and compatible with your Fallout 4 version; the mod lists supported versions.
- After installing, open the mod's INI and adjust RCAS sharpness to taste — start with default and tweak until the image looks right.
