Instructions

• []Download and install archive via the FOMod installer as usual with a mod manager.

  []Generate object and terrain LOD with FO4LODGen.

  []Unless otherwise noted below, there is no hard requirement for the plugins that define unused LOD models and the FO4LODGen - Main.ba2 to be loaded in the game. However, if you notice flickering LOD textures or other odd behavior keep them in the load order.

  • []Define unused LOD models for Fallout 4 for object LOD generation with FO4LODGen.

    []Unset No LOD Water flag from Commonwealth 4,1 for terrain LOD generation with FO4LODGen.

    []Updated and fixed LOD meshes that had UV out of bounds errors.

    []Updated materials for trees for use with "Use Backlight Power" option for object LOD generation with FO4LODGen. Useful for trees that still have leafs, like the pre-war maples.

    • []Assign unused more detailed tree LOD meshes to more LOD levels. Needs to load after FO4LODGen.esp

      FO4LODGen-FullModelLOD.esp

      • []Define full models for LOD for Fallout 4 for LOD generation with FO4LODGen. This example adds the partitions to the elevated highways. Using full models as LOD can severely affect performance or cause crashes when generating LOD. If parts appear invisible/wrong alpha, check the "use alpha threshold from source" checkbox in FO4LODGen.

        • []Fix bad material swap and define unused LOD models for Fallout 4 Far Habor for LOD generation with FO4LODGen.

          • []Add IsFullLOD flag to the 3 wind turbines so they can be seen from afar. This plugin does not really affect LOD generation and needs to stay active in the game.
