📋 About This Mod
FO4 PA Mounted Rocket Launcher
Just in time for Christmas (no batteries included)
I made this a few years ago for my own game and I decided to finally share it out to the world for other people to use.
The PA Mounted Rocket Launcher is craft-able at the Chem Bench and it has its own listing, so it should be easy to find. You can make the pod in 3 different colors (red, black and green), but the targeting device has only one color. The rocket pod is just cosmetic and does not actually fire anything, the targeting unit is what actually shoots the rockets. Simply point the targeting unit in the direction you want to fire the rockets and shoot. You also have a "scoped/ADS" option, so that you can try and place rockets in more of a specific location. Also since the rocket pod can be equipped on any power set, if you get out of the Power Armor, it will disappear. Don't worry, it is still there and equipped, it just does not appear on an empty set of Power Armor. I could never figure out how to get that to work properly with out adding it to every power set that will ever be in the game, and that is not something that I am willing to do.
The Rocket pod can ONLY BE EQUIPPED ON A SET OF POWER ARMOR!
You can not even equip it unless you are in a set of power armor. The targeting device can be used, but the rocket pod must be used with a set of Power Armor in the game, in order to see it.
I do not support Munitions, so I will not give permission to make a patch for it. If you want a patch so you can use the "proper" ammo, I suggest you make one yourself using Caliber Complex. It is a much better mod IMO.
The mod is flagged as an ESL, so it does not take up any mod slots.
The Targeting Unit does not have any modifications or special animations and I will not be making any for it. It uses only the basic missiles from the game, that is it.
There is no level list for this or any of the mods I make, because these items are made for the player and their companions/followers to use. They are usually much too powerful to be put in the hands of any would be enemies.
The mod is what it is, and unless it is a game breaking issue, will not be revised.
If this is something that you can not deal with, then don't use the mod. It is really that simple.
If you are crashing at the Chem Bench when trying to make the weapons, go and download and enable the mod No More Legendary Screen, that mod

✨ Key Features
📊 Pros & Cons
✅ Pros
- Solid download count (18,512) shows real interest despite modest endorsements.
- Recent update (Dec 2025) means it's likely compatible with current game patches.
- Fills a specific niche for heavy-weapon Power Armor builds.
⚠️ Cons
- Only 56 endorsements — a small community, so troubleshooting help may be limited.
- No detailed instructions or images in the description, so you're flying blind on crafting requirements.
- Limited to a single weapon type — not for players wanting broad content additions.
For Fallout 4 players who love Power Armor and want to add a shoulder-mounted rocket pod for extra firepower. Ideal for heavy-weapon builds or role-playing as a walking tank. Skip if you prefer subtle or lore-friendly additions — this is pure explosive fun.
💡 Beginner Tips
- Check your Power Armor mods for compatibility — some overhaul mods may conflict with the new shoulder slot.
- Look for the crafting recipes at a Power Armor station; the mod doesn't specify where to find them, so explore all crafting menus.
- If you're using a mod manager, let it handle the install to avoid manual file placement errors.
