Flashlight WITHOUT vault-boy

Flashlight without vault-boy image (only green flashlight projection texture)

This retexture mod originally maded for myself, then I decided to upload it here on nexus. I search for similar across the Internet, nothing similar has not found. it is sad as this icon vault-boy very prevents for player view...especially in dark places.

This mod just change default vault-boy flashlight texture. And does not affect on the fallout4 gameplay. (You can not be afraid for your savegame or something else)

I've play with this mod, so all should work fine.

Extract files from archive to your Fallout4 main folder. This should looks like:

... Fallout 4\Data\Textures\Effects\Gobos\ProjectionHeadlamp_Powerarmor_pipBoy_d. DDS

Then you should do IMPORTANT INI EDITS: As with other replacement mods you will need to make the following adjustments to your ini files in order for the game to recognize it.

Open up your Fallout4.ini file located in (C:\Users\YOURPCNAME\Documents\My Games\Fallout4) REPLACE this line below:

sResourceDataDirsFinal

with this line:

sResourceDataDirsFinal=STRINGS\, TEXTURES\, MUSIC\, SOUND\, INTERFACE\, MESHES\, PROGRAMS\, MATERIALS\, LODSETTINGS\, VIS\, MISC\, SCRIPTS\, SHADERSFX\

Save and close.

Only the textures bit is necessary, but if you're going to be trying out a lot of mods then it's worthwhile to allow all replacements now so you don't have to do it in the future!

Extract files from archive to your Fallout4 main folder. This should looks like:

And add this lines in Fallout4Custom.ini (C:\Users\YOURPCNAME\Documents\My Games\Fallout4)

bInvalidateOlderFiles=1  sResourceDataDirsFinal=TEXTURES\After this game should use mod files from specified folders in this line (sResourceDataDirsFinal=) ==========================
