Don’t like the shady shacks you’re stuck with when using vanilla game assets? Wanna take a few shortcuts when stuffing out your settlers’ houses to make them look more cozy and lived in? Well fret not, because Fancy Prefabs can give you a hand and fix this.

This mod provides a small but well-crafted assets to breathe more life into your settlements. Immersive buildings made of reasonable materials, pre-lit and partially decorated for your settlers to move in right from the get-go. Place new scavenging stations to give them something to do besides plowing the fields, and throw in your very own compact player home just for good measure. Add some green and people will overrun your settlements like there’s no tomorrow!

Found under the "Structures" category, his mod provides several types of prefabricated buildings as well as additional parts to expand and/or connect them.

Once the buildings are set up you can add new furniture and other fixtures to make your new buildings a small paradise on (scorched) Earth. You will find the in the mod's own "Furniture" subcategory.

- Snap pillows to beds (one to cots, two to double beds). They'll function as normal beds for your settlers and yourself.

- Electrical stoves will bring the blue stoves in the field kitchen and the player homes back to life

- Curios, wooden boxes, latches on the walls next to the door frame, holders next to a door, the area above or below a curio and the double beds in a player home have snap points for storage containers. See the corresponding descriptions of the containers when in workshop mode.

- Buildings designed to be used by settlers only feature one or three snap points for tiny kitchens. Just look for the "This machine has no brain. Use your own" signs.

- Any area with a electricity hazard sign can accomodate a working fridge

- three sockets in a wall indicate a snap point for a tiny sink which works as any other working sink (ie: restore some health upon activation)
