📋 About This Mod

Minor fixes and additions to the mod Fallout New Vegas Style Trains, including regenerating the broken PreCombines, adding a few missing navcuts, touching up the writing on a note, and even adding a new train!

I absolutely love the mod Fallout New Vegas Style Train. I've always preferred the model seen in New Vegas, so a mod recreating it and replacing all of the vanilla locomotives in Fallout 4 with it sounded perfect to me. However, as I was testing some other mods, I came to the sudden realization that the mod had a couple of problems.

Most notably, it contained at least one dirty edit, and didn't regenerate the various PreCombines it broke. As such, I decided to fix these issues myself, since the author doesn't seem to be active anymore. I've regenerated all of the broken PreCombines and Previs Data, and removed the aforementioned dirty edit. While I was at it, I went ahead and made a couple of my own additions and changes, too.

I added Navcuts to all of the trains added to new locations by the original mod, which are basically collision boxes placed on top of an object, intersecting with the Navmesh, that tell NPCs not to walk through it, all without actually editing the Navmeshes. There was a note in the original mod, sitting by a train at the northern end of the map, which I edited to give slightly better grammar. I even placed one more train, located at the Boston Police Rationing Site, as there was a lack of trains in Boston proper. I hope you enjoy!

Did I use this mod as an excuse to practice taking screenshots by taking one of every train on the map? Yes. Yes I did. But I also did edit every single one of them in some way.

This mod regenerates the PreCombines and PreVis Data of several cells, and will be incompatible with any other mod that also regenerates these cells. These cells are as follows: Wilderness (-9, 13) , Wilderness (-8, 15) , Wilderness (-5, 25) , Wilderness (-5, 24) , POISC20 (-6, -14) , and Wilderness (-6, -15) . Surrounding cells with edited PreVis may also experience issues due to PreVis being generated in clusters.

This mod is likely incompatible with Previsibines Repair Pack, but I do not know how to patch for that, so someone else may need to make a patch. Patches for Rebuild Starlight Drive-In and The Rebuild Collection - AiO can be found in the Optional Files. There aren't any other known incompatibilities at this time, but feel free to let me know if you come across any.

Thank you to minime453 for creating the original mod, and to ryanfss for creating the original train model. And, of course, thank you to each and every single person reading this. I hope you're having an awesome day.
