📋 About This Mod
Another simple sound replacement, even simpler than the one i uploaded actually.
This mod replaces the VATS Exit sound, with the VATS Enter sound.
What i'm saying is that it replaces the VATS "woosh" sound when you exit VATS with the "SCREEECH" sound when you enter VATS. That's it.
Once again, shouldn't conflict with anything that edits UI_VATS_Exit.xwm (aka. the single file this mod replaces)
MOD MANAGER INSTALLATION: Click the Download with Vortex button above.
MANUAL INSTALLATION: Download it. Extract archive to where-ever. Place the Data folder in your Fallout 4 directory. Done. (maybe backup your game prior to messing with the files just in case)

✨ Key Features
📊 Pros & Cons
✅ Pros
- Nostalgia hit for Fallout 3 veterans (316 endorsements)
- Tiny download, installs in seconds
- Does exactly what it says—no bloat
⚠️ Cons
- Last updated in 2020—may not work with the latest Fallout 4 patches
- Only changes the exit sound, not the entry sound
- No compatibility notes for other VATS sound mods
For Fallout 4 players who miss the classic Fallout 3 VATS screech and want a quick nostalgia fix. Skip if you prefer the modern sound or use other VATS overhaul mods that might conflict.
💡 Beginner Tips
- Drop the files into your Data folder or use a mod manager—either works fine.
- If you use other sound mods, load this one last to ensure it takes priority.
- Test VATS in-game to confirm the sound plays; if not, check your load order.
