What is Fake Through Scope?
Fake Through Scope (FTS) for Fallout 4 is a framework that allows modded weapons to be able to simulate a Picture-In-Picture effect and other visual effects for their optics/scopes in screen space once patched. FTS is a complement to STS rather than a substitute.
In effect, this MOD fuses some features of two mods: See-Through Scope by henkspamadres and Shader based 2d scopes by CrookR from S. T. A. L. K. E. R. : Call of Pripyat.
Why Fake ?
As I said before, this is all simulation. You're not really seeing through your sights. This mod tries to grab a bit of your screen and shows it in a texture, just like screenshot, and then renders to a specific texture.
INSTALLATION
