📋 About This Mod
Ever thought that vanilla arch was done in a kinda stupid way? I mean it obviously meant to be embeddable into floor, not attached to ridiculous piece of concrete.
Let's remove this concrete and snap it to the doorway, where it meant to be. Or place it anywhere you want. You could even stack them into array to create a perfectly alligned decontamination corridor.
In addition the power connector was moved from top to bottom. There is an option with connector at the top. It will inevitably hit the ceiling though, unless your ceiling is higher than normal. There is no way around this.
The arch will snap to the concrete doorway only. Nevertheless you can snap them to each other (stack) anywhere.
If you want to create and automatically activated/deactivated arch or even array, you may want to use my Self-Sufficient Laser Tripwires mod. You may also want to use Snap Snap to snap those rubbers mats to the floor in a matter of seconds.
This is a mesh replacer, no esp.
For the list of requirements check "Required files". If you don't feel like meeting those requirements, don't use the mod.
That's all.
A compact Fallout 4 settlement mod that lets you embed the decontamination arch into floors and stack multiple arches into a decontamination array. With 281 endorsements and 6,144 downloads, it's a niche quality-of-life build tool for settlement builders.
✨ Key Features
📊 Pros & Cons
✅ Pros
- Community-tested with 281 endorsements and over 6,000 downloads.
- Solves a real settlement building headache—no more awkward arch placement.
- Opens up creative floor-plan designs with stackable arrays.
⚠️ Cons
- Last updated in 2017, so it may not be compatible with the latest Fallout 4 patches or DLC.
- Only affects the decontamination arch—if you don't use that item, this mod is useless.
- Potential conflicts with other settlement mods that alter the same workshop objects.
For Fallout 4 settlement builders who want cleaner, more integrated decontamination arch placement. If you're into detailed base layouts and hate clipping, this is a must-have. Skip if you rarely build or don't use decontamination arches.
💡 Beginner Tips
- Make sure you have the decontamination arch unlocked in your settlement build menu before using this mod.
- When stacking arches, test the array in a workshop mode to ensure NPCs can still path through.
- If you're on PC, consider using a mod manager like Vortex to keep track of updates and conflicts.
