Dynamic Difficulty

In fallout 4 the in-game difficulty settings just change the damage multipliers, for the most part. Difficulty multipliers are what determine incoming and outgoing damage, and each difficulty has a static number that does not change. Outgoing damage isn't too unbalanced, but incoming damage is all over the place. The game starts out relatively hard, then gets easier and easier until all the challenge is gone. If you use mods to make the game harder, the beginning becomes nearly impossible.

This mod makes the players incoming damage dynamic, so it changes as you level up. This helps offset the many scaling issues the game has without directly altering actor values.

There are two versions of this mod: Standard and Hard. Standard actually decreases the difficulty at the start of the game, then reaches vanilla difficulty around level 25. After level 25, the difficulty increases until level 75.

The Hard version of the mod starts out exactly the same as the default game, then the difficulty increase until level 75. The Hard version reaches a slightly higher max incoming damage at the end, but most of the challenge is from the high starting damage.

The exception to both versions is survival mode, see below for exact numbers.
