Direct Control Robots With Robotics Expert

With this mod, The Robotics Expert perk, has an added option when you hack robots to give you direct control over the robots for 20 seconds, you can control them with the movement keys, they will frenzy on being directly controlled, so you can attack your opponents right away, you may also use the other commands freely, there is also a version that adds a craftable gun that lets you control the robots from a far, the gun version let's you control even your allies and unhackable robots!

This mod has no requirements, works with base game and no dlc or any dlc, should work for all versions of the game, and does not touch any game files(besides the hack terminal for robotics expert, if you got that version), it will never create problems in your game, and should be highly compatible with most if not all mods that exist.

The way it works:

You need robotics expert 3, the one that would normally give you control over robots by letting you issue commands, once you have robotics expert 3, you will have a new option called direct control, use it and you will have direct control of the robot for 20 seconds(similar to fallout 3). After getting the perk, if you got the "Gun Version", the gun is made at the chemslab, and also the ammo, you may also modify it at a weapons workbench, with it you will be able to shoot robots from a far and control them directly, the gun version lets you control robots that where previously unhackable and also your allies. After 20 seconds you will brought back to your body, wherever the robot was at the time, is where he will be when the direct control ends. As always you should save often, also you should avoid controlling quest npcs that are about to do stuff related to the quest. No robot ever gets mad at you for shooting them or hacking them, they also never attack the player when being controlled!

Controls for the robots:

The direct controlled robot will always attack it's enemies, even your allies if you aren't careful, it's the same as the vanilla robots that get frenzied. To attack simply face them and they will auto-attack, but you will often have the chance to attack manually with the left mouse button or pressing the grenade button also known as the force attack or alt attack button. A companion npc, will often automatically teleport back to you, if he goes too far away from you while being controlled.
